KEEPING THREADS CLEAN
Thread protectors help protect fine threads with a silencer or other muzzle device isn’t attached. Most commonly they are used on handguns, where a suppressor may not be able to remain mounted when the firearm is holstered. They assist in gun cases, while carrying, in the safe, or simply to prevent accidental damage in numerous other situations.
Manufactured by AAC, Dead Air, Gemtech, Lone Wolf or SilencerCo and for use with all threaded barrels. The 1/2×28 thread protector works on most 9mm and 22lr hosts.
